Site specific installation of the quotation “you don’t have to be here”, spoken by the Dutch prime minister Mark Rutte. Made for an exhibition in and about Amsterdam, featuring its people, objects and ideas, the text was cut out of yellow reflective ‘prismatic’ foil and hung from the roof of De Appel, in a neighbourhood populated by people whom Rutte’s words were targeting.
